ASTOR PLACE VINTAGE is the name of my new novel. It’s also the name of the Lower East Side vintage clothing store owned by Amanda Rosenbloom, one of the main characters in the novel.

Amanda finds a journal from 1907 hidden inside of trunk of Edwardian clothes and goes back in time — in her imagination, that is — to follow the tumultuous year in the life of Olive Westcott, a young woman who’s moved to Manhattan to become a department store buyer.

Olive and Amanda live a hundred years apart, but as they walk the same streets, pass the same buildings, and stand in the same rooms they’re connected in ways neither could’ve imagined.
